Series Solid Center Link and Tie Rod Kit

The Kryptonite SS Series Center Link Tie Rod Package offers a significant upgrade in steering durability for GM HD trucks and Hummer H2 models. Designed with a much stronger configuration than factory GM center links, this system is modeled after the robust Center Link found on the H1 Military Hummer. Constructed from high-strength 1144 stress-proof carbon steel, the 1-5/8-inch hexagonal tie rod body and centerlink provide superior tensile and yield strength compared to typical chromoly components. This robust construction effectively eliminates flex and instability, even under heavy loads, aggressive steering inputs, or challenging terrain. The package includes one Kryptonite SS Series Solid Centerlink and two Kryptonite SS Series Tie Rod Assemblies, finished with a zinc plating for enhanced corrosion resistance. This steering system is compatible with both GM and aftermarket idler and Pitman arms. However, it is critical to note that this package will only work on trucks that retain the center link in its factory position. If your truck has been lifted, it must utilize a spindle-style lift kit, not one that drops the control arms. For leveled trucks, longer sway bar end links may be necessary, and the manufacturer recommends the Kryptonite HD swaybar end links. Important fitment notes include that this package will not work with Fabtech Lift Kits and cannot be used with lift kits that drop the center link from its factory location. The package is designed for 2001-2010 Chevrolet/GMC 1500HD/2500HD/3500HD models and 2002-2009 Hummer H2 models, specifically for 8-lug trucks.
