Description

The ATI Performance 918857 Serpentine Super Damper is a high-performance harmonic balancer designed to eliminate torsional crankshaft vibrations in GM Gen V LT-Series engines. This damper is constructed from a combination of aluminum and steel, features an internal balance design, and has a black zinc chromate finish. It exceeds SFI 18.1 specifications, ensuring it meets stringent safety and performance standards. With a 7.480-inch outside diameter, this Super Damper is engineered for optimal efficiency at all RPMs. It is tunable and rebuildable, offering long-term reliability for race, street, and truck applications. The damper also includes laser-engraved 360° timing marks for precise engine tuning. Its 10% underdrive design can contribute to reduced accessory drag and potentially improved engine performance. It fits 2016–2024 Chevy Camaro SS/ZL1 (6.2L LT1) and 2016–2024 Cadillac CTS-V (6.2L LT1) models. The product notes indicate it is not legal for sale or use in California.
