The Stillen Setrab Oil Cooler Kit is a robust cooling solution for 2012-2020 Nissan 370Z (Z34) models, engineered to reduce oil temperatures by 30 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. By circulating oil outside of the engine through a high-efficiency Swedish-made Setrab core, this kit helps maintain optimal operating temperatures for critical components like piston rings and cam bearings, preventing the vehicle from entering a reduced power mode during aggressive track use or forced induction scenarios. Note that installation requires drilling mounting holes. Compatibility constraints are critical: this kit does not fit Nismo 370Z models without custom modifications, and the manufacturer does not provide instructions for Nismo configurations. Additionally, it cannot be installed on 350Z vehicles equipped with a long and low aftermarket cold air intake system due to interference issues. For proper operation, the integrated thermostatic bypass plate requires the use of a Fram #PH3950 oil filter or an equivalent to ensure a correct seal.
