The Hayden Fan Clutch 2791 is engineered for severe duty applications, designed to maintain optimal engine cooling in Dodge and Jeep vehicles. This new aluminum clutch is compatible with models such as the Dodge Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram 3500, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, providing reliable performance under demanding conditions. Constructed from durable aluminum material, the D-type severe duty clutch is designed for truck fan drives and features a raw aluminum color with a 6.45-inch maximum diameter. It has a hex mounting type with one bolt hole and one mounting hole, secured by 5/16-18 threading. The clutch uses reverse rotation and is not electronically controlled, making it suitable for traditional mechanical fan drives. It has an overall height of 3.77 inches and a fan bolt circle diameter of 3.25 inches. Installation of the Hayden Fan Clutch 2791 requires attention to mounting hardware, which is not included. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris before installation. Use the correct 5/16-18 bolts to secure the clutch, and verify the clutch rotation matches the engine’s fan direction (reverse rotation).
