SF Intake System

This system features a high-flow cone filter with increased surface area for improved airflow capacity compared to the OEM panel filter. The polished aluminum intake tube provides a smoother, straighter path to the turbocharger inlet, reducing restrictions and promoting better engine breathing. This integrated approach ensures that the hardware and software calibration work together harmoniously, optimizing performance gains. The MAF sensor is retained and positioned within the SF intake tube for accurate air mass measurement. Key features include a high-flow, wet cotton cone filter that is reusable, and a smooth polished aluminum intake tube. All necessary installation hardware and couplers are included in the kit. This SF Intake System is specifically designed for the 2015-2019 Volkswagen GTI Mk7 models with the EA888 Gen3 2.0T engine, and the 2015-2019 Volkswagen Golf R Mk7 models with the EA888 Gen3 2.0T AWD engine. While tuning is not strictly required, it is highly recommended to fully realize the benefits of this intake system and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
