Description

The COBB SF Intake System is an entry-level intake upgrade designed for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX. Construction features a black powder-coated aluminum airbox, which utilizes a slot to direct air from the factory air scoop. The system employs a larger, pre-oiled cone filter and a custom conical air filter element paired with a CFD-designed velocity stack and an airflow straightener grid. This design aims to minimize turbulence and smooth incoming air for accurate Mass Air Flow sensor readings, while the one-piece high-temperature plastic composite MAF housing reduces weight and heat transfer. It is compatible with COBB Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps that are denoted with "+SF". For a complete list of compatible maps, customers should consult the Maps Section on the COBB Tuning website. The SF Intake System is 50 State Legal, holding California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number D-660-110, making it legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles nationwide.
