SFP-N51-N52 Tune ECU Reflash

The StageFP SFP-N51-N52 Tune is a comprehensive ECU reflash meticulously engineered to elevate the performance of N51 and N52 engines. This tune offers significant enhancements by recalibrating Vanos and Valvetronic systems for increased street torque, while optimizing fueling and ignition timing to achieve substantial power gains at higher RPMs. The tune also raises the engine's redline to 7200rpm, providing a broader power band for manual transmissions or automatic transmissions equipped with an xHP tune. This performance tune supports various configurations and modifications. Stage 1 offers an estimated horsepower gain of +12-17 HP for stock or lightly modified engines. Stage 2 provides an additional +15-22 HP and is recommended for vehicles with high-flow catalytic converters and exhaust modifications. Optional features include adjustments for lifter modifications, burble sounds (pop and bangs), and intake manifold swaps, such as the 3-Stage Manifold, which is recommended to be paired with high-flow cats and aftermarket headers for optimal results. To utilize the StageFP SFP-N51-N52 Tune, a Windows laptop is required to read the ECU and write the tune. The product can be flashed using any Dcan/Kline OBDII cable with updated firmware, though the use of specific cables like the BimmerGeeks cable is recommended, as cheaper alternatives may cause flashing issues. A flash cable can be purchased as an option. Additionally, an OBDII cover for anti-tamper protection is available. Please note that late-model N52 engines found in the F10 and F25 chassis are not supported by this flash software and require the DME to be shipped in for tuning. The software is not compliant with the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and its use on California public roads is prohibited. After flashing and VIN locking the ECU, no refunds, cancellations, or returns are possible. Dyno results are typically achieved with SAE correction factor and smooth level 5 on a Dynojet 224x, but results may vary.
