Description

The Z Automotive Security Gateway Bypass Module is engineered to provide full access to the OBD2 port in 2018 and newer FCA (Stellantis) vehicles, which are otherwise restricted by the factory Security Gateway Module (SGW). By locating and unplugging the OEM SGW module and plugging this bypass unit into its place, you can enable aftermarket devices to communicate with your vehicle's computer system. This bypass is particularly required when installing Z Automotive's Tazer or BurnBox, as well as other tuning tools and code readers, on affected vehicles. The module supports all FCA platforms, including Alfa Romeo and Fiat, featuring the second High-Speed CANBUS. The Security Gateway Bypass Module fits the 2018-2023 Dodge Durango and 2018-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It can also be used in any 2018+ FCA vehicle, with the specific exclusion of the Cherokee L/WL and Grand Cherokee L/WL models.
