The Insane Shafts IS-017-IS-018 is a pair of drive shafts designed for K-series engine and transmission swaps. These axles are constructed from chromoly steel and are heat-treated for enhanced durability. They are rated to handle up to 500 wheel horsepower. The set includes left and right side axles, along with removable ABS rings (if applicable) and new spindle nuts.

The Insane Shafts IS-017-IS-018 axle set is engineered for demanding performance builds, capable of supporting up to 500 wheel horsepower. Constructed from chromoly steel, these axles are subjected to Insane Shafts' proprietary annealing and heat treatment process, ensuring superior strength and durability under high-demand conditions. This set includes both left-hand and right-hand axles, along with removable ABS rings (where applicable) and new spindle nuts for a complete installation. This product is compatible with a range of Honda and Acura models when equipped with a K-Series engine swap, including the 1990-2001 Integra (DA, DC), 1992-2000 Civic (EG, EK), 1999-2006 Insight, and 2009-2014 Fit. Additional compatible vehicles include the 1988-1991 Civic Wagon AWD, 1992-1995 Civic Ferio/Concerto/Beagle, 2001-2005 Civic (EP), 2006-2011 Civic (FD/FN), and 2012-2015 Civic (FB/FG), as well as the 2017-2018 Civic Type R (FK8), CRV models (1997-2001, 2002-2006), Odyssey (1995-1998), Prelude (1992-1996, 1997-2001), and S2000 (AP1/AP2). The application list also extends to various Hyundai, Infiniti, Lotus, Mazda, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Polaris, Porsche, Scion, Subaru, and Toyota models, provided they feature a K-Series engine swap and meet specific year/model criteria.
