Description

The Insane Shafts IS-098-D represents the pinnacle of high-performance CV axles, engineered for the most demanding applications. Constructed from premium chromoly steel, each axle undergoes Insane Shafts' proprietary annealing and heat treatment process, followed by cryogenic treatment. This advanced methodology ensures exceptional strength and durability, enabling the axle to reliably handle power demands of up to 1000 wheel horsepower. These axles have been rigorously tested in real-world conditions, proving their capability to withstand extreme stress on both the track and off-road. The IS-098-D is specifically designed for the 2017-2018 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) and is a right-hand (RH) side application. Each axle comes equipped with removable ABS rings (if applicable) and includes new spindle nuts for a complete installation.
