The Melling MPS-78 is a steel expansion plug designed to seal casting core holes in engine blocks and heads. This plug is manufactured from steel and features a shallow design with an outside diameter of 2.109 inches and a depth of 0.295 inches. It is sold individually and helps protect engines from cracks caused by frozen coolant.
