The Turner Motorsport Shark Injector is a performance software upgrade designed for the E46 M3. This device plugs directly into the car's diagnostic port to flash new performance files into the engine computer. It offers horsepower and torque gains, faster throttle response, and removes the top speed limiter.

The Turner Motorsport Shark Injector Performance Software is a plug-and-play ECU flash tune specifically for the E46 M3. The software modifies fuel injection, ignition timing, VANOS, and camshaft movement maps for optimized part and full throttle performance. The installation process is straightforward: the Shark Injector connects to the OBD-II diagnostic port, and with the aid of a battery charger, it reflashes the ECU in minutes. The software can be easily restored to the stock BMW tune using the included 'Restore' button. Performance figures show gains of up to 9 rear wheel horsepower and 1.6 rear wheel torque between 7000 and 8000 RPM, with a peak improvement of 6.0 whp and 1.6 wtq. The rev limit is raised to 8,100 RPM. For maximum gains and to combat heat soak, a Turner IAT Relocation Kit is recommended as an optional upgrade. This item is compatible with 2001-2006 E46 BMW M3 models (US models only). It is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board. A capable 10-amp battery charger is required for installation.
