The Turner Motorsport Shark Injector is a performance software upgrade for the BMW E46 325i/xi models. Developed by tuning expert Jim Conforti, this device plugs directly into the vehicle's diagnostic port to flash new performance files into the Engine Control Unit (ECU), enhancing performance without requiring ECU removal or a laptop. The software is dyno-developed to maximize power and torque on premium 91+ octane fuel while maintaining BMW reliability and smoothness. It modifies key ECU maps, including fuel injection, ignition timing, VANOS, and camshaft control, with a focus on improving low-RPM response and overall torque delivery across the entire RPM range. The rev limit is increased to 7000 RPM, and the top speed limiter is removed. Installation is designed to be simple, typically taking just a few minutes and requiring only a capable 10-amp battery charger to maintain power. The device features an 'Upgrade' button to flash the new software and a 'Restore' button to revert to the stock BMW software at any time. Detailed instructions are provided. This performance software is specifically designed for the 2001-2006 E46 BMW 325i, 325ci, and 325xi models. It is not for sale or use in California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations.
