The Mobil SHC Gear 320 is a synthetic industrial gear oil designed to provide exceptional protection for gears and bearings. It is formulated with synthetic base fluids that offer excellent oxidation and thermal stability, as well as low-temperature fluidity. This oil features a high viscosity index, ensuring less change in viscosity with temperature fluctuations for a wider operating range and improved cold starts.

The lubricant incorporates a proprietary additive system to protect against wear modes like scuffing and micropitting fatigue. It also offers enhanced lubrication for gearbox rolling element bearings, superior rust and corrosion protection, and excellent compatibility with various metals and elastomers.

The Mobil SHC Gear 320 is a high-performance synthetic industrial gear oil engineered to deliver outstanding protection for gears and bearings, even under extreme operating conditions. This oil is formulated from synthetic base fluids renowned for their exceptional oxidation and thermal stability, coupled with excellent low-temperature fluidity. Its high viscosity index ensures minimal viscosity change across a wide temperature spectrum, facilitating broader operating ranges and improved startup performance in colder environments. Compared to conventional gear oils, Mobil SHC Gear 320 offers the potential for enhanced lubrication of gearbox rolling element bearings. It delivers superior rust and corrosion protection, even in the presence of seawater contamination, and demonstrates excellent filterability, even when wet. Mobil SHC Gear 320 is recommended for enclosed industrial gear drives, such as steel-on-steel spur, helical, and bevel gears. It is particularly suitable for applications prone to micropitting, especially heavily loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies. It can also be used in gear applications experiencing extreme temperatures (both low and high) and environments where severe corrosion may be a factor. Its compatibility with common gearbox materials and mineral-based gear oils allows for straightforward changeovers.
