The Shields Series 148 VAC XHD hose is a premium, extra-heavy-duty sanitation hose with a smooth white FDA-grade PVC construction and vinyl helix. It is rated for full vacuum and resists mild chemicals, permeation, and saltwater. This hose is suitable for a variety of marine applications, including bilge pump intake and discharge, drains, livewell intake and drain, potable water tank fill, and sanitation systems.

This hose is resistant to odor permeation. It is available for purchase by the foot, with the longest continuous piece being 50 feet. The temperature range for this hose is -40°F to 160°F (-40°C to 71°C).
