The Triumph Shift Assist Kit (MPN A9778833) enhances the riding experience of the Triumph Rocket 3 by enabling seamless up and down gear shifts without requiring clutch engagement. This advanced system offers adaptive interrupt duration, adjusting based on the engine's RPM for optimal performance and smoothness. However, specific fitting kits are required depending on the Rocket 3 variant: the Shift Assist Fitting Kit For Forward Controls A9770224 is needed for the GT model, while the Shift Assist Fitting Kit For Mid Controls A9770225 is required for the R model. It is important to note that this kit replaces the older Triumph Shift Assist Kit A9778507. After installation, a crucial step is the activation of the quickshifter functionality. This must be performed by a Triumph dealer using a diagnostic tool to ensure proper configuration. The cost of this activation service is not included with the kit and may vary. This kit is specifically designed for the Triumph Rocket 3. Fitment requires the corresponding auxiliary fitting kit based on whether your motorcycle is equipped with forward or mid controls.
