Description

The Superior K4T65-E is a shift correction package specifically engineered for the 4T65-E transmission. This kit directly addresses several critical issues, including inadequate line pressure, which can cause shifting problems and clutch damage. It also targets premature clutch failure, slow or intermittent line rise, and excessive torque converter clutch (TCC) slippage that may result in diagnostic trouble codes. Furthermore, it helps to eliminate harsh forward engagements, often described as a 'slide bang.' Included in the package is a new "Superior Steel Series" hardened boost valve and sleeve, a key component for enhancing line pressure control. Superior claims that this kit definitely improves the overall performance of the 4T65-E transmission. It is designed to fit models from 1997 to 2011, suitable for both regular and heavy-duty/taxi applications.
