This kit is designed to correct and prevent a variety of shifting problems, including 1-2 bump or slide, 2-3 bump or slide-bump, rough downshifts, 4-3 cut-loose or bind-up, 4-3-4 shuttle hot, 4th shudder at light throttle, OD band failure, excessive shifting, and issues with late or no 4th gear engagement, as well as falling out of 4th gear. Made from durable aluminum, this shift kit is built to last and offers an easy installation process. It is designed for all Ford AOD transmissions from 1980 onwards, ensuring broad compatibility for owners of these classic transmissions.
