Description

The TransGo SK AODE Shift Kit is a valve body repair kit engineered for Ford AODE, 4R70W, and 4R75W automatic transmissions, covering models from 1991 to present. It is designed to correct and prevent common transmission issues such as codes P0731, P0751, P0756, P1714, and P1715, as well as drivability problems like the 4-2 kick-down bang, neutral on acceleration, and long, soft 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. The kit also helps prevent direct clutch failure, 4th/OD band failure, and 2nd roller failure. Included in this comprehensive kit are a no-stick solenoid regulator valve, a drop-in pressure regulator valve, accumulator spring upgrades, an EPC relief system, a 3rd accumulator plate saver, and special high-tech forward clutch sealing rings. These components work together to save cracked and worn separator plates, improve overall drivability, and enhance durability. The kit aims to provide crisp, smooth shifts without compromising the transmission's longevity. This product is manufactured in the USA and is explicitly stated as NOT for performance use.
