The TransGo SK G4A Shift Kit is engineered to improve and restore drivability while adding durability to your Ford or Mazda automatic transmission. This valve body repair kit is specifically designed for 1986-1993 G4A-EL, G4A-HL, and Ford 4EAT-A models that are equipped with either two or four solenoids. This kit directly addresses several common transmission problems, including reverse clutch burn-up, bind-up issues in forward or reverse gears, harsh 4-3 shifts, 2-4 band burn-up upon starting, and the burning of reverse and speedometer gears. By installing the SK G4A, you can expect a more consistent and reliable transmission performance. Installation of this shift kit is recommended for experienced technicians and does not require transmission removal. The product is also noted to have a delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
