Overview

The TransGo 6T70-A is a SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit for GEN1 6T70 and 6T75 automatic transmissions. It is designed for 2007-2013 General Motors vehicles equipped with these transmissions. This kit addresses common complaints such as erratic shifts, TCC slip, and various solenoid performance and gear ratio codes.

The kit features a new drop-in AFL valve system, a hardened steel TCC regulator valve with a repositioned land, and a new design PR valve. It also includes a new relief system to protect against pressure over boost and new rubber grommets and diaphragms for the TEHCM pressure switches.

The TransGo 6T70-A SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered for GEN1 6T70 and 6T75 automatic transmissions found in 2007-2013 General Motors vehicles. This kit targets prevalent issues like erratic shifting, torque converter clutch (TCC) slip, and various solenoid and gear ratio codes, often stemming from wear in the actuator feed limit (AFL), TCC regulator, and pressure regulator (PR) valve bores. Key components of the kit include a new, drop-in AFL valve system that restores function by utilizing the existing worn bore with a furnished bushing and valve. A drop-in hardened steel TCC regulator valve is provided, featuring a re-positioned longer land and a scarf-cut sealing ring to ensure a seal within the original worn bore. Additionally, a newly designed PR valve with extended lands is included to re-establish the reliability of the line pressure regulation system. Further enhancing transmission durability, the kit incorporates a new relief system that replaces the OE isolator valve line-up. This system actively protects against pressure over-boost conditions, thereby preventing potential damage to hard parts. It is crucial to note that this kit does not fit GEN2 units. The specific applications covered are GEN1 6T70 and 6T75 transmissions from model years 2007 through 2013.
