SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK 6T70-A SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered for 2007-2013 General Motors vehicles featuring GEN1 6T70 and 6T75 automatic transmissions. These transmissions often exhibit issues like erratic shifts, TCC slip, and various solenoid performance and gear ratio trouble codes, frequently stemming from wear in the actuator feed limit (AFL) valve bore. This kit provides a comprehensive solution by including a new drop-in AFL valve system with a furnished bushing and valve to restore AFL function in the worn bore. Additionally, a new design pressure regulator (PR) valve with longer lands ensures the reliability of the line PR system, while a new relief system replaces the OE isolator valve lineup to protect against pressure over-boost, thus preventing hard part damage. Key components of this kit include USA-made hardened steel PR and AFL valves, a steel AFL bushing, and a hardened steel TCC regulator valve. It also contains necessary hardware like springs, spacers, retainers, sealing rings, O-rings, and diaphragms/grommets for TEHCM pressure switches. The kit is explicitly stated to correct or prevent issues such as erratic or hunting TCC, broken parts due to over boost, and a comprehensive list of diagnostic trouble codes including P0741, P0751, P0842, and P2714, among others. It is crucial to note that this kit does not fit GEN2 units. The SK 6T70-A is specifically for GEN1 transmissions from 2007-2013 which utilize pressure switches, unlike the GEN2 units.
