SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK A650 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to resolve common performance issues in the 1998-2005 Lexus A650E 5-speed automatic transmission. Owners often experience shuttle shifts, binding or flare during the 2-3 shift, slips under throttle in 3rd and/or 4th gear, and rough kickdown at highway speeds due to slow TCC release. This kit also aims to correct solenoid and TCC performance codes, including P0746, P0751, P0756, P0771, P0776, P0894, P2714, and P2757. The primary causes of these issues are typically worn TCC relay boost valve bores and worn solenoid modulator valve bores. When the TCC relay boost valve bore wears, the computer loses precise control over the lock-up clutch engagement and disengagement. Similarly, wear in the solenoid modulator valve bore affects the pressure regulation to the solenoids, which can lead to improper fluid delivery and subsequent shift quality problems, solenoid performance issues, and gear ratio codes. This kit includes USA-made hardened steel components, such as a TCC relay boost valve, bushing, and retainer, along with a redesigned solenoid modulator valve system. These parts are designed as drop-in replacements to restore hydraulic circuit integrity and solenoid modulator valve function without requiring special tooling. The inclusion of a USA-made hardened steel solenoid modulator valve, bushing, spring, and end plug further enhances durability and performance. A 0.055” drill bit is also provided for installation purposes.
