SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kit

The TransGo SK A246 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit is engineered to address common issues found in the Toyota A246E and A245E automatic transmissions. This kit targets problems such as shuttle shifts, bind-up or flare on the 2-3 shift, slips with throttle engagement in 3rd or 4th gear, engine stalling at a stop, and TCC slip codes. Key areas of concern addressed by this kit include worn TCC relay boost valves and bushings, which can lead to lock-up control issues and overheating. It also addresses worn solenoid modulator valve bores. The kit includes USA-made hardened steel components, such as a TCC relay boost valve and bushing, and a redesigned solenoid modulator valve system that does not require special tooling. These parts work to restore the proper hydraulic circuit integrity and solenoid modulator valve function, even with existing bore wear. This kit is compatible with 2003-2008 A246E transmissions in Toyota Matrix vehicles equipped with the 1.8L 130 horsepower engine. It also fits 2003-2008 A245E transmissions with an EPC solenoid in Toyota Corolla models and 2003-2008 two-wheel drive A246E transmissions in Pontiac Vibe vehicles.
