It eliminates the need for complex locknut systems, featuring a straightforward, single-piece design that can be installed with a single 16mm wrench. This makes the process more intuitive and less time-consuming. Adjusting your shifter's orientation is made easy and precise with the built-in set screw, allowing for fine-tuning after initial installation. If the shifter is not facing the desired direction, simple adjustments can correct its position. The adapter is constructed from durable 6061 grade aluminum, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear. Its taller design compared to previous iterations enhances structural integrity and increases the contact area with the vehicle's OEM threads, providing a more robust connection. A thoughtful feature of the Thread Adapter is its integrated 16mm hex design at the base. This addresses the common issue of adapters becoming stuck within the shifter, allowing for easy removal with a standard 16mm socket. Additionally, the adapter is designed to integrate seamlessly with shift boot retainers, which feature a wide internal bore compatible with shifter assemblies up to 19mm in diameter.
