This kit includes both the front and rear bushings, addressing shifter sloppiness that develops over time from mileage and age. The installation of these harder urethane bushings significantly tightens up shifter action, providing a crisper and more direct shift feel. This upgrade is ideal for drivers seeking a more engaging and precise shifting experience, whether for daily driving or performance applications like racecar or rally car builds. This specific combo is designed for Subaru WRX models with a 5-speed manual transmission, specifically from the 2002 to 2014 model years. It is compatible with ALL 5-speed models within this range. However, it's important to note that this kit is intended for vehicles with the factory shifter assembly only. If your WRX has an upgraded SPT/STI short shifter package, you will need a different combo, identifiable by a gold zinc plated shift lever. Vehicles with a dark gray lever have the stock assembly and are compatible with this kit.
