Description

By reducing the compliance of these mounts, the kit directly combats the unwanted movement of the transmission under acceleration and load changes. This design significantly tightens up the connection between the shifter and the transmission, which can otherwise lead to a vague or inconsistent shift throw feel. The inserts work with the existing OEM mount hardware, making installation substantially simpler than a full bushing replacement. The polyurethane material preserves some level of NVH absorption while effectively reducing unwanted drivetrain compliance, particularly beneficial for high-torque applications like the EJ and FA engines found in Subaru WRX and STI models. Specifically designed for the 2008-2021 Subaru WRX and STI, and the 2005-2013 Subaru Legacy GT, this kit offers a noticeable improvement in driving experience. It is a direct-fit, bolt-on solution that requires no fabrication. The kit includes polyurethane inserts for the transmission and differential mount positions.
