Shifter Bushing Kit

This shifter replaces the OEM accordion-style plastic housing with a robust Delrin bushing, known for its strength, chemical resistance, and low friction, ensuring smooth and long-lasting operation. A TPV bushing is incorporated to keep the Delrin clean and protected. The base of the shifter has been upgraded from stamped steel to a 0.35" aluminum plate, which offers superior strength, prevents rust, and enhances overall shifter rigidity. K-Tuned has also added an extra threaded hole to further triangulate the assembly and increase its sturdiness. The lower adjustment shaft is constructed from black anodized 6061 aluminum and allows for adjustable throw, configurable from within the car. It features a notched section for easy adjustment, with a sight hole and a numbered internal steel shaft for clear measurement. This shifter is independently height and throw adjustable, allowing users to fine-tune their setup. For D15/D16 engines, the stock steel plate must be used; remove the billet plate on the base and reuse the factory plate. The B/D Shifter explicitly excludes EM2/ES1 D17 applications.
