Unlike softer factory mounts that can lead to a vague or sloppy feel during spirited driving, the Group N mount employs a higher durometer polyurethane construction. This upgrade significantly firms up the driveline, providing a more direct and engaging connection between the engine and transmission. The result is a crisper, more accurate shift feel, allowing you to better plant the power down on the road. This mount is an excellent supporting modification, particularly beneficial when undertaking engine or transmission overhaul projects, as it helps minimize unwanted movement. While it enhances performance, the design aims to do so without a significant increase in noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) for most daily driving applications. This transmission mount is specifically designed for Subaru STI models from 2004-2021 and Subaru WRX models from 2022-2026, provided they are equipped with 6-speed manual transmissions only. Ensure compatibility with your specific vehicle's transmission type before installation.
