Overview

Factory shifter bushings can become weak over time, leading to excess slop in side-to-side and forward-and-backward shifter movement. The Kartboy bushings are constructed from durable polyurethane to tighten up shifter play.

Over time, these stock bushings degrade, resulting in excessive slop and a less precise shifter engagement. The shifter knob height is also lowered by 1 inch. Constructed from CNC'd and TIG-welded 4130 Cr-Mo steel, this shifter is built for durability. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed with basic mechanic's tools in under 30 minutes. This combo is specifically designed for 1998-2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS models. While it can also be utilized in 2002-2007 WRX models that came with the pre-installed factory short throw shifter, it's important to verify fitment for your specific vehicle. The package includes the KB-001-RS shifter, KB-003-5SPD shifter bushings, and KB-003-Rear shifter bushings.
