The K-Tuned Billet RSX Shifter with Mini Base Plate (KTD-RSX-BPR) is engineered for K-Swapped vehicles utilizing RSX, EP3, 2002-2006 CR-V, Element transmissions, or 8th gen transmissions with an RSX-style shift selector swap. This shifter features a newly designed mini base plate that provides essential clearance for the exhaust tunnel lip and a smaller overall footprint, facilitating easier installation into swap chassis with minimal cutting of center consoles. Construction highlights include a billet design for extreme strength, eliminating the flex and looseness found in stock plastic shifter boxes. The shift lever and pivot ball are crafted from solid stainless steel, seated within a self-lubricating Delrin cage for years of smooth and consistent operation. This V4 revision offers independent adjustment for throw, gate, and height, along with an angle-correcting cable bracket that swivels to align shifter cables. Two styles are available: Race/Drag with a stronger center section, and Street/Road course with a swivel elbow for customized shift positioning. Adjustable seat pressure is included to maintain a precise feel over time. It is important to note that this is not a direct replacement shifter for the stock RSX chassis. For K-swap chassis installations, a shifter base plate is required to mount to or below the exhaust tunnel. K-Tuned also offers a new rebuild/service program for shifters, where they can be sent in for inspection, cleaning, and replacement of wear items for $100 plus shipping.
