The GSC Power Division GSC5085 Shimless Conical Valve Spring Kit is engineered for the legendary Nissan RB26DETT platform, specifically designed for high RPM valvetrain stability. This comprehensive kit includes 24 conical valve springs, 24 titanium retainers, 12 chromoly intake seats, and 12 chromoly exhaust seats, all built to handle elevated boost pressures and aggressive cam profiles with precision and reliability. Conical springs offer superior harmonic control through their variable coil diameter and spacing, which naturally dampen valvetrain harmonics. This design reduces shock, minimizes wear, and extends component life, making them ideal for engines pushed to their limits by aftermarket tuning. Each spring is subjected to a multi-step heat treatment and features a super-finished surface to ensure enhanced durability and consistent performance, even at the maximum rated 10,000 RPM. Performance specifications include a seat pressure of 95 lbs @ 1.285" install height and an open pressure of 225 lbs @ 0.862" lift (10mm). The maximum valve lift is rated at 0.443", with coil bind occurring at 0.786". This kit is capable of handling up to 50 psi of boost pressure, and the total spring and retainer weight is a mere 38 grams. This kit is compatible with the following Nissan Skyline GT-R models: 1989–1994 R32, 1995–1998 R33, and 1999–2002 R34, all with the 2.6L Twin Turbo engine.
