This comprehensive kit includes medium load front and rear coil springs, designed to provide approximately 2 inches of lift, especially when up to 100kg of additional equipment, such as a winch or bumper, is fitted to the front of the vehicle. They are also shot peened to relieve stress and scragged to ensure long spring life and prevent sagging, finished with a silver powder coating for lasting good looks. The kit incorporates Terrafirma All Terrain shocks, featuring a robust twin-tube design that maximizes oil volume for cooler internal temperatures and improved protection of working parts. A low-pressure nitrogen charge keeps the oil pressurized, preventing foaming and cavitation, which can lead to heat buildup and shock fade. These shocks are constructed with large, fully welded mounting pins and durable rubber bushes for maximum strength. They are engineered to handle demanding off-road conditions while delivering a comfortable, balanced, and controlled ride on paved surfaces, and are designed to accommodate up to 2 inches of lift when used with Terrafirma coil springs. It is important to note that if your Discovery Series II is equipped with rear air suspension, a separate Rear Air Suspension To Coil Spring Mounting Kit (sold separately) will be required for proper installation.
