Upgrade the rear upper shock mounts of your Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ while gaining almost a 1/2 inch of shock absorber down travel with this JKS bar pin eliminator kit. This solution provides heavy-duty cross pin and mount blocks, allowing the conversion to standard EB1 eyelet-style shock.There are numerous benefits. The design eliminates the transfer of noise and vibration caused by bushing movement and cradles the shock absorber bushing to proper specifications for better performance and longevity.Machined bushing surfaces reduce friction and wear. Retains the original mounting alignment to prevent stress on shock absorber and bushing. Manufactured from premium grade steel and zinc-coated for corrosion resistance. The JKS Manufacturing JKS9604 is a rear top mount bar pin eliminator designed to replace the factory bar pin in shock absorber bushings. It provides correct lateral compression and preload to prevent distortion of shock bushings, thus eliminating the transfer of vibration and noise. This component is constructed from superior grade steel and is zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. It increases down travel by almost 1/2-inch and retains original shock mounting alignment.
