Overview

The ARB BP-51 is a user-adjustable internal bypass 4WD shock absorber designed for increased comfort and control, both on and off-road. It features on-vehicle independent adjustability of both rebound and compression, velocity-sensitive damping, and position-sensitive damping. The shock absorber body is 51mm bore, 6061 grade aluminum with a type III hard anodized finish for increased heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. It also includes a remote oil canister, Dash 6 high-temperature Teflon hose, Teflon-lined spherical bearings, a 6061 grade aluminum spring seat, X5K grade steel coil (for coil-over models), a 6061 grade aluminum adjustor, a hard-chromed ground piston shaft, and a replaceable, impact-resistant, high-density polyethylene shaft guard. Specifically, the BP5160048 provides a durable shock mounting solution for the Chevrolet Colorado rear right side, ensuring proper alignment and secure mounting for enhanced vehicle stability and performance.
