The UMI Performance shock tower brace is a suspension component designed to improve handling and steering response for 1993-2002 GM F-body vehicles. It connects the front shock towers to provide additional structural stability and protection when using larger tires.

This brace is manufactured in the USA using 1-1/4 inch tubing and 1/4 inch thick CNC laser-cut mounting plates, providing a lightweight yet durable structural reinforcement that helps protect shock towers during aggressive driving or when utilizing large tires. The component is available in both mild steel and a lightweight 4130 chromoly version, which weighs approximately 4 lbs compared to the standard version's weight of under 5 lbs. Both options feature a durable powder-coat finish and are designed for a straightforward installation that can be completed in 15 minutes or less using basic hand tools. Please note that this product does not fit V6 models or vehicles equipped with a FAST102 intake manifold.
