The NRG Innovations Short Hub and 2.0 Quick Release bundle is a performance-oriented steering solution designed to reduce the distance between the steering wheel and the driver. The short hub is constructed from 6061 anodized aluminum and serves as the foundation for the 2.0 quick-release unit, which includes raised sections to protect against scratching and stretching. The quick-release mechanism employs a self-locking ball-bearing design for secure, reliable operation on the track. The system is compatible with 6x70mm and 6x74mm bolt patterns on the steering wheel side. Installation requires a vehicle-specific hub adapter to bridge the gap between the steering shaft and the quick-release unit; please verify your specific hub adapter size before starting the installation to ensure proper fitment. Horn wiring is included with the kit to support continued utility of existing steering wheel features.
