Short Nipple Oil Drain Valve

The Fumoto F133S is a short nipple quick oil drain valve, superseding the F-103S model. This valve incorporates Fumoto's most compact ball valve and is suitable for cars, light trucks, vans, and select commercial engines. Its spring-assisted ball valve design allows for one-touch operation, making oil changes easier, cleaner, and less time-consuming by eliminating the need to contact hot oil and reducing the risk of stripped threads or frozen plugs. Installation involves removing the original drain plug and draining the oil, then inserting the Fumoto valve and gasket into the drain plug port and tightening. It is crucial not to over-tighten. If the oil pan has a recessed drain hole that prevents the valve from being fully tightened against the pan wall, the valve should not be installed on that vehicle, as adapters may be available for some models. After installation, ensure the valve is closed before refilling the crankcase. Operation is simple: lift the control lever and turn it 90 degrees counter-clockwise to open, and turn it clockwise 90 degrees until locked to close. Fumoto recommends the short hose nipple version for vehicles with low ground clearance. The N-Series valve (with a nipple to accept a hose) is not recommended for passenger cars with low clearance.
