The HPS 827-579P Short Ram Air Intake is engineered to enhance the performance of your 1998-2002 Honda Accord 2.3L, including DX, EX, LX, VP, and SE trims. This intake system is designed to increase horsepower, torque, and improve throttle response by replacing the restrictive stock air box with a free-flowing, polished, lightweight 2-3/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum alloy piping. This system is fine-tuned by HPS Performance for optimal airflow and heat dissipation, ensuring durability and long-lasting performance. It does not require any tuning after installation, making for a straightforward upgrade. The kit includes reinforced silicone hoses, industrial-grade stainless steel T-bolt clamps, and a washable/reusable performance air filter, all backed by a Two-Year Limited Warranty. Installation is facilitated by a clear, picture-guided manual. However, please note that this item cannot be shipped to California, New York, or Maine due to shipping restrictions.
