The AEM 22-413R Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing, replacing them with an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration, and performance. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable red powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the engine breather hose and any vacuum lines. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools. The AEM 22-413R is precision-tuned and dyno-validated to enhance throttle response, sharpen acceleration, and improve overall engine efficiency. It also creates a deeper, more aggressive induction tone that highlights the intake system’s improved airflow. The low-restriction intake tubing increases air velocity and high-volume airflow for maximum performance gains. The reusable, oil-free synthetic filter media preserves airflow efficiency, traps harmful contaminants, and provides long-term value over disposable filters. This intake system is street legal in all 50 states.
