Overview

The 2J Racing intake is a short ram or cold air intake designed for the 2011-2014 Nissan Juke and RS with the V1 motor. It can be purchased as either an SRI or CAI, with the CAI filter residing between the chassis and the driver fender. The SRI version does not require an adapter pipe to the turbo.

The 2J Racing SRI/CAI intake is engineered for the 2011-2014 Nissan Juke and RS models equipped with the V1 engine, compatible with both AWD and FWD configurations. This intake offers versatility, allowing users to choose between a Short Ram Intake (SRI) or a Full Cold Air Intake (CAI) setup. The CAI version relocates the filter outside the engine compartment to draw in cooler ambient air, which can lead to increased horsepower and torque due to higher oxygen density in the combustion chamber. The SRI version integrates the necessary piping directly, eliminating the need for an additional adapter pipe to the turbo. The development process involves monitoring fuel trim correction factors and all OBDII sensors to ensure the engine does not run lean or trigger check engine lights. Options for customization include polished, Wrinkle Red, or Gloss Black finishes, with powder coating options incurring an additional charge and potentially adding two weeks to delivery time. A K&N Filter sock is also available to help maintain filter cleanliness and dryness.
