The Forge Motorsport FMVAG5QS is a short shift kit designed to shorten gear shift movements for optimal shifting times in performance driving. It features an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism, allowing for personalized throw customization. The kit includes two pin sizes and a ball fitment to accommodate various vehicle cable types.

This quickshifter is compatible with VW/Audi/SEAT/Skoda (VAG) vehicles equipped with 5-speed transverse gearboxes from 2000 onwards. It also fits 6-speed 1.4L Twincharged engines found in the Golf Mk5, Golf Mk6, and Scirocco, replacing OEM part number 1K0 711 046M.

The Forge Motorsport FMVAG5QS is a short shift kit engineered to significantly reduce gear shift throw, enabling quicker and more precise gear changes essential for performance driving. Its standout feature is an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism, allowing drivers to fine-tune the shifter's throw to their exact preference. This customization ensures an optimal shifting experience tailored to individual driving styles. Constructed for versatility, this quickshifter comes with two different pin sizes (8.4mm and 10mm) and a ball fitment, ensuring compatibility with the diverse cable setups found across compatible VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) vehicles. The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation, including pins, a ball pin, an 8mm nut, and a bag of grease, along with detailed instructions and a Forge sticker. This unit is designed to fit VW/Audi/SEAT/Skoda vehicles equipped with 5-speed transverse gearboxes manufactured from 2000 onwards. Additionally, it is confirmed to fit the 6-speed 1.4L Twincharged engines used in the Golf Mk5, Golf Mk6, and Scirocco models, serving as a direct replacement for the OEM part number 1K0 711 046M. However, it is crucial to note that this shifter WILL NOT fit vehicles equipped with the AGU engine code. The kit is backed by Forge Motorsport's Lifetime Warranty.
