Its design incorporates a stiff, self-centering feel and a unique lockout system, allowing drivers to disengage unnecessary gears like reverse, thereby mitigating the risk of expensive mis-shifts during high-performance driving or competition. Constructed from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum with a 304-grade stainless steel base plate, the Coolerworx shifter meets motorsport demands for rigidity and reliability. The isolated lower rod features lubricated o-rings that absorb a considerable amount of powertrain vibrations, making it an ideal upgrade for enthusiasts with modified engines or transmissions that are prone to increased vibrations.
