Short Shifter

The GK Tech Z334shifter is a direct replacement short shifter engineered to enhance the driving experience in compatible Nissan and Infiniti models. This upgrade significantly reduces shifter throw by 33%, resulting in dramatically faster gear changes and a more precise, connected feel to the transmission. The shifter itself is 30mm shorter than the factory unit and incorporates added weight at the top, further contributing to a more tactile and engaging shift action. Constructed with a Delrin lower bushing, the Z334shifter offers a low-friction, solid engagement that provides excellent feedback. It retains the OEM shift knob thread pitch of M10x1.25, ensuring compatibility with most aftermarket shift knobs. The installation process is straightforward, requiring no modifications to the vehicle – simply remove the stock shifter and install the GK Tech unit using your OEM hardware. It is important to note that while this shifter enhances shift feel and speed, the CD gearboxes in these vehicles are known for being internally noisy. As the GK Tech shifter is a solid unit, unlike the OEM shifter which uses internal rubber damping, it may slightly increase Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) levels, particularly at higher RPMs. This short shifter is confirmed to fit the following vehicles: Nissan RZ34 Z, Z33 350Z, Z34 370Z, and Infiniti G35, G37.
