The UUC Motorwerks USSE52 Ultimate Short Shifter is engineered to transform the driving experience by providing a precise and satisfying "snick-snick" feeling that is often lacking in factory BMW shifters. This aftermarket component is not a modified BMW part but a unique design starting with the finest materials. It incorporates T-304 stainless steel, T-6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, precision bearings, and self-adjusting, lubricating primary pivot bearings. Key design characteristics include height adjustability through upper-section length changes and a flex- and rotation-free lever construction. It also features a full-length vibration-absorbing bushing housing and corrected linkage geometry. Many consider this shifter to be the finest available for BMW E34 models. This shifter is specifically designed for select models of the BMW E34 5 Series, including the 525i (Base Sedan and Wagon, 2.5L L6) from 1989-1995, the 535i (Base Sedan, 3.5L L6) from 1989-1993, the 540i (Base Sedan, 4.0L V8) from 1994-1995, and the M5 (Base Sedan, 3.6L L6) from 1991-1993. It is constructed with T-304 stainless steel and T-6061 aircraft-grade aluminum for durability and performance.
