Constructed from a rigid steel frame, this shifter minimizes flex during aggressive gear changes, providing a precise and mechanical feel. Its internal spring ensures smooth and consistent shifts, while the four-link layout offers a significant reduction in throw and adjustable gate spacing. This shifter allows for extensive customization to suit individual driver preferences. The shift knob height can be adjusted from 10mm to 30mm taller than stock using a 5mm allen key. Additionally, the knob's position can be adjusted closer or farther from the steering wheel, and the shift throw can be reduced by 20% to 40% compared to the factory shifter. Construction details include 6061-T6 aluminum links paired with stainless steel ball bearings for smooth, quiet operation, and stainless steel shift levers to prevent rust. The internal spring is swappable, allowing for tuning of resistance to preference. This Hybrid Racing Short Shifter Assembly is compatible with the following vehicles: - 2003 Acura CL Type-S - 1997-2001 Honda Prelude - 2000-2006 Honda Insight - 1998-2002 Honda Accord (V6 & F Series) - 2000-2002 Honda Accord Euro R/Type R CL1/CH1 (UKDM / JDM) Included in the box are the Short Shifter Assembly, Shift Rod, Shift Rod Offset, and four Mounting Bolts. An install guide is available for the 97-01 Prelude.
