This kit achieves a 25% reduction in gear throw, which not only shortens the longer factory throws but also enhances shift accuracy and minimizes side-to-side play. A key benefit is that it requires less effort than other short shift kits (SSK) that offer 35% or greater reduction, resulting in a more direct and connected feel to the car, transmission, and road surface without an increase in shifting effort. Constructed from stainless steel with a red anodized, lightweight billet aluminum housing, this shifter retains factory ergonomics with a shift lever length of 8.86 inches (22.5 cm). The kit includes installation instructions and is sold as a single unit, with one kit necessary per car. Please note that replacement bushings with circlips are sold separately. This short shift kit is suitable for daily drivers, canyon carving, back roads, and weekend track events, offering an ideal combination for various driving scenarios. It is manufactured in Germany.
