This shifter significantly reduces the throw by around 40%, leading to more precise gear engagement and a reduced chance of missing gears. Its construction includes a robust chromed steel shifter shaft and pivot ball, paired with a solid billet aluminum housing and quality nylon bushings, ensuring longevity and smooth operation. The insulated shifter lever also helps to minimize transmission noise and vibration, contributing to a more comfortable driving experience. It retains the stock shifter height and gear knob thread pattern (12 x 1.25mm) for ease of integration. The manufacturer is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 accredited, and detailed fitting instructions with photos are included. This short shifter is specifically designed for the R154 transmission originating from the JZX110. It is compatible with all 2000-2007 Toyota Mark II (JZX110) models, including Grande and Verossa trims, when equipped with the R154 transmission (Toyota part number 33030-2A630). It will also fit any vehicle utilizing this specific R154 transmission. It is crucial to note that this shifter will not fit the R154 transmission if it has the "tripod" arms found on remote mount transmissions.
