Description

This direct-fit modification mounts to the original gearbox linkage, transforming shift feel without altering the factory gearbox system. It is an ideal upgrade for track cars, drift builds, and drivers seeking a more connected driving experience. A short throw shifter fundamentally reduces the distance between gear changes, resulting in quicker, more precise, and sportier shifts. The IRP V3 features a CNC-milled aluminum stick and frame, precision bearings for smooth movement, and a low-friction design with Teflon-coated inserts. Stainless steel hardware ensures durable assembly. Key features include H-pattern compatibility, retaining OEM gearbox function, and adjustable blocking for 5th, 6th, and reverse gears. It is intended for racing and performance applications, and its solid construction may increase audible driveline feedback. For best results, it is recommended to pair this shifter with stiff engine and gearbox mounts. Fitment is confirmed for Nissan 370Z / Fairlady Z34 and Nissan Z RZ34 models equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
