Its low profile design, sitting only 3-4mm above the shift lever, significantly differentiates it from stock and other aftermarket knobs. This results in a more direct and firmer shifting experience, with typical throw reductions of 5%-10% compared to non-countersunk knobs. Constructed from a durable 6061-T6 aluminum outer shell combined with a heavy stainless steel inner core, the POCO shift knob features a tasteful satin anodized finish. All Acuity branding is laser-etched for lasting durability. A key design element is the integrated shift boot collar, which creates a clean, integrated look by connecting the shift boot to the knob. This collar attaches to the shift boot with included low-profile cable ties, and then clips into the knob for a finished appearance. This shift knob features an M10x1.5 thread size. It is confirmed to fit a wide range of manual transmission Honda and Acura vehicles, including various generations of the Civic, Accord, Fit, RSX, and TSX. However, it is explicitly stated that this shift knob WILL NOT fit the Honda S2000 (all years) and 2006-2008 Honda Civic (all trims). Additionally, modification (filing off two small steel bumps on the shift lever) is required for fitment on the 2003-2008 CL7R Accord (all trims with manual transmission).
